USB Soldering Iron - 10-Watt

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this USB-powered 10 Watt soldering iron. Now this soldering iron will operate from a 2.0 or higher USB port from on your computer, your car, a wall, a power bank or adapter. This soldering gun is ideal for repair of small parts and components. It will heat up to a maximum temperature in about two minutes and it cools to the touch within about six minutes. Now on their packaging, they do show a maximum output of 932 degrees.

Now I do not have a heat gun here that would go that high to be able to test it, but that's what their packaging does show. Basically, when you do plug this into a USB port the ring right up here will light up on the tip of the gun to let you know that it is on. The cord itself is about 48 inches long, give you plenty of working space and it does include the nice metal stand that'll hold it, keep the hot end from touching anything. And it also comes with the two solid brass tips. One is a chisel design tip, the other is a pinpoint tip and the way you install those, you just put 'em on there, screw 'em on, tighten it down and you're all ready to go.

Few specs on this, the dimension of the soldering iron itself, five inches long. The diameter of this is about 5/8 of an inch at the grip. And the total weight is only about 1 1/2 ounces. But that should do it for the review on this USB-powered 10 Watt soldering iron..
